I had a powersupply die in a four year old system and decided on this product to replace it. Installation and cabeling was very straight forward and easy. The power supply comes with ample cables and ties for installation.
After hooking everything up, my machine was alive once more, and all was good. The one complaint I have is the noise. This is NOT a quiet power supply. While I don't have the bicycle effect posted by another user, this thing is still noticable loud under load. I seriously thought perhaps something was wrong with it at first. I've grown used to the noise after a week or so however I am not thrilled.
It will do the job you need it to do, but will do so loudly.

I was hesitant to buy this power supply at first, but I don't know why I was worried. This power supply is incredibly silent! I was wondering if it was even on at first, but sure enough it was on. The fan on it is thermally controlled so it wasn't on full bore like my last power supply. I went from a generic 500 watt to this silent monster. Not to mention it comes with a five year warranty and it is 80 plus certified. I can sleep with my computer on without it keeping me awake now! I am very happy with my purchase and you will be too!
P.S. I ordered it around midnight on a Wednesday and got it Friday afternoon! It came to my place much quicker than I expected and I only paid for standard shipping!

You can pay more but why do it for a powersupply. Plenty of power plugs and plenty of power to run above average video cards and the new Intel i-processors.
