UPDATE: Belkin has released the Windows 7 drivers for the unit! Sweet! I changed it to 5 stars and am very happy with this product. Thanks Belkin for providing the new drivers!

I like this network card but I changed my OS to windows 7 several months after buying this card and it definately does NOT work with windows 7. As of January 10, 2010 Belkin has not provided drivers for windows 7. Seems that Belkin should have provided the drivers for win7 by now... It may never work with win 7.... If you don't plan on "upgrading" to win7 then it's a great card but until they release a driver for win7, it will be useless for me.

While the Amazon product descirption and the package insert notes that the memory runs at 667Mhz and is compatible with systems running at 533 MHz, this is not strctly so. Wile some (most?) computers needing 533MHz memory will accept this product, some older computers like my EMachines T5082 require 533MHz memory and only 533MHz DDR2 memory. Be forewarned: downwards compatibilty is not guaranteed.

A call to PNY cleared this up for me. I sent this back and ordered PNY MD2048KD2-533 from Amazon instead.

Don't try overclock with these. I've had people trying and fried them fresh out of the package. On a more positive note, these cards make up a good portion of the heroes that make budget PCs possible. It saves you a couple of bucks but nothing beyond general performance.

This power inverter worked fine for 2 separate road trips running a small laptop and an ipod. Part-way through the 3rd road trip, it blew the car's fuse for the accessory power outlets. Every time this inverter is plugged in, even with the power for the inverter turned off and nothing plugged into it, the fuse is blown again. I could not recommend this particular inverter.

Whistler Pro-200W Review by efooter

This inverter provides a "Modified sine wave," not a true sine wave (if you hook this up to an oscilloscope, the waveform will be boxy instead of smooth). This isn't advertised on Amazon's page, nor on other websites. It is in the user manual. Some applications may be very finicky, so do some research on your particular device before you buy.

Also in the manual was that this inverter will automatically shut off if the load is too much. It will source more than 200 watts for 10 seconds for start up applications (e.g. motors). The manual said it will draw <.7 Amps when turned on with no load, so your best bet is to turn it off when you're not using it.

I used this to charge my MacBook Pro without any problems, and used the USB charger to charge my iPod touch. Overall if you're in the market for a power inverter, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this one.

Did a trip from Lexington VA to Erie PA in a 2001 Ford Focus, running my ASUS G73J and playing Freespace2 SCP for about 4 hours. The adapter was quiet and fairly cool (fan did kick on with about 20 minutes to go in the trip) and never had any issues. Cord length was excellent and size was unobtrusive. Unless we use it again and have issues like other reviewers where it freaks out or blows breakers, I'm sticking with my 5 stars.

I had a powersupply die in a four year old system and decided on this product to replace it. Installation and cabeling was very straight forward and easy. The power supply comes with ample cables and ties for installation.

After hooking everything up, my machine was alive once more, and all was good. The one complaint I have is the noise. This is NOT a quiet power supply. While I don't have the bicycle effect posted by another user, this thing is still noticable loud under load. I seriously thought perhaps something was wrong with it at first. I've grown used to the noise after a week or so however I am not thrilled.

It will do the job you need it to do, but will do so loudly.

I was hesitant to buy this power supply at first, but I don't know why I was worried. This power supply is incredibly silent! I was wondering if it was even on at first, but sure enough it was on. The fan on it is thermally controlled so it wasn't on full bore like my last power supply. I went from a generic 500 watt to this silent monster. Not to mention it comes with a five year warranty and it is 80 plus certified. I can sleep with my computer on without it keeping me awake now! I am very happy with my purchase and you will be too!

P.S. I ordered it around midnight on a Wednesday and got it Friday afternoon! It came to my place much quicker than I expected and I only paid for standard shipping!

I have known about Lexar from its brother brand, Crucial; and, this memory didn't disappointed me at all. I'd recommend this memory for regular consumer cameras and/or electronics.

I tested this memory by maxing out its capacity then transfer files to computer. The speed is consistently at 24.8MB/sec, which is not bad for a Platinum II ver. from Lexar. I'd not make any comment regarding the price because it was free pairing with my Canon SD1300 that Amazon.com was selling back then.

Its compatibility is great as well, and it works with whatever I plugged it into.

I reviewed a variety of audio preamps. I needed two channels and little sophistication in the device. I purchased this GE product because I thought the brand name would represent some degree of reliability. What I recieved was a device with one working channel and one totally inoperative channel. The single channel which is working is adiquate, but I thought I would have two. If this random sample of one represents what you want when you buy GE, go ahead and purchase. But, you have been warned, GE is no better than any off shore no name brand. The wrapper is written by a native English speaker and other indications looked good. The product is a failure.

i have an old receiver with no amplifier on its auxiliary input jack, and i could barely hear my older record player when connected to the receiver. this pre-amp really does a great job increasing the volume level of the record player's audio (i was using max volume, level 40, on my receiver to even hear the record at all, and now get an equivalently loud, clear sound at volume level 9 or so). definitely worth the price and very easy to use (simply install between your record player's line-out and your receiver's line-in).

Here is a book that should come with a WARNING on the cover "May be difficult to put down". Reason being that when I sat down to read this novel with a full cup of coffee, 45 minutes passed before I realized I now had a cold cup of coffee . Very well put together , I had to re-read many pages twice because I was reading too fast as I was anxious to find out what happened next . Mr Bufogle has a way with writing that I've never seen or read before , right to the point with no dragged out chapters as many authors do to add more pages .I would love to see a movie on Horse Latitudes to see who would play who , mainly Chester. H L is a book everyone can relate to at one point or another in life. Now the "cons" The cover didn't really fit the book at all , I guess you were trying to prove the old saying "you can't judge a book by its cover". A+ , 5 stars and 2 thumbs up , hope to see more of your work .

Chester Sprockett receives this definition of the Horse Latitudes from the owner of a little coffee shop after he explains he has writers' block. In fact most of Chester's life has become stuck, he feels he is always waiting for something... Once a high school football star, now he is unemployed, has split up with his girlfriend and his dream of writing a bestselling novel seems unreachable as he is suffering from writers' block.
'Horse Latitudes' is almost like a book of short stories; each chapter describes a significant event in Chester Sprockett's life. The stories are like different parts of a jigsaw puzzle that make up the whole book.
Chester is in his mid-thirties living alone in the house he was born in. He lives with regrets of what could have been - holding on to the past - wishing he had been braver and told Beth how he felt about her way back then in high school; wishing he had not let the chance of a football scholarship slip through his hands...
Chester's father had run up debts on credit cards and after he died there is a threat that Chester could be forced to sell the house the pay off the debts. He tries to find work and is disillusioned when he joins a firm of salesmen, knowing that his real dream is to write the bestseller.
His late father visits him one day when Chester is suffering from fever; his visit helps Chester realise that he needs to be liberated from everything that is holding him back from following his dream...liberated from the Horse Latitudes.
This book is full of hilarious and insightful observations. It was a joy to read and I would recommend it to everyone!! As I was reading it, I thought it would be excellent if this book was made into a film, it definitely has a 'Hollywood' feeling about it. It will make you laugh out loud. One example is when Chester is looking at Beth: "She was just standing there in her bikini holding the ice cream... In fifty years she'd be old and wrinkled. In a hundred fertilizer. It didn't matter." There's plenty more laughs where that came from. Do yourself a favour and buy 'Horse Latitudes'. It's a tonic we all need in the credit crunch era!!

I loved Chester! This is his story and he kept me entertained throughout. In between the humorous quips and anecdotes, this story holds nuggets of insight.

Scenes from Chester's past, from childhood to early adulthood, are woven in and around his present day situation. We see the good and the bad of all that shaped him into the man he became. The writing is crisp. The characters a fun, motley assortment. A great book to escape into for any reason.
